Susan - It's not immediately apparent that this is an IR image although the foreground and sky give a hint. I seem to recall that te IR effect on conifers differs depending on their altitude as the mix of the light colours changes as the altitude increases.
A good rendition of the Oregon coast in which the patch of white water is all important. |

Ella - an impressive image of the Phoenx Library, distinctive design and a very interesting backstory. The absence of people around the doorway concentrates the eye on the design features - the lines and textures. |

Ed - a poignant image remembering that terrible event. Well seen and well processed - the detail in the rose is impressive, but I do not undestand why you masked out the Topaz DeNoise on the rose, but your choice of course. |

Nick - A great landscape after my own heart with great depth and the leading line of the fjord. I do like the layering on the mountains on each side and the patches of snow further enhance the definition. Coupled with a strong sky these factors combine to produce a strong image - nicely done! |

Ian - Great result from your first foray into studio photography. As with all portraits the viewer should be drawn instantly to the model's eyes as is the case here. The pose is nicely relaxed and the eye contact with the camera works well.
I feel that there are one or two issues with the processing especialy around the model's nose particularly the brightness along the bridge and the shadow areas each side. The lighting on her shoulders seems to be incompatible with that on her arm - the brightest part of the image. Although, as you probably know, I am exclusively a landscape photographer, but lighting is equally important in both genres. |

John - a lucky shot indeed! I like the juxtaposition of the horse and sheep with both positioned nicely in the frame and the story that is told. Great example of 'right place, right time'with the bonus of good detail in the sky.
Overall I feel that the image is a little on the dark side. |
