31 May 23 Comment Nick - a very moody landscape with some drama in the sky and reflections in the water. I would consider a 16x9 crop to lose a touch of the foreground and some sky to create a more expansive view. A little more detail in the darks would not go amiss IMO. May 14th

31 May 23 Comment Susan - a well spotted and caught candid image - fortuitous that the musician was wearing white which gives the image impact. That he is looking into the archway is a plus for me and removes the mug shot aspect and adds a degree of mystery to the image. Nicely done o'all, but a little more contrast would give the image a boost IMHO. May 14th

31 May 23 Comment Ian - a street frozen in time! - nicely composed. The figure at the end of the street isthe key to the success of the image IMO. I would suggest that sharpening at the end of processing is beneficial and always at the finished image size. May 13th
31 May 23 Comment John -I like the flow of the trunks from lower left to upper right with the added interest of the opposing curved trunk in the middle.
CEP Pro Contrast has no beneficial effect, but a Curves layer as used by Ian is the way to go and I would be tempted to go a little further - positioning the sample point on the lighter portion of the trunk lower right and drawing it down - if Affinity offers this mode.
