Although there is no EXIF data as the image was captured on slide film I would be certain that it was captured in the afternoon as the hike to the Wave is both long and tedious.
As I recall as the sun dips the whole area falls into shade quite early on as there are large hills immediately behind the camera location. Had there been more interesting light later in the day I feel sure that I would have taken advantage of it! |

Ella - the lighting on the figurine is superb and could not be bettered IMHO. The inclusion of the perfume bottle, which is well placed. works well, but I wonder if it is a little on the small side to have a real impact in the image? |

Nick - Well thought out and composed image with great depth. The textures in the sky and water work together to enhance the image. I have no issues with the inclusion of the people -in silhouette they blend into the image without being distracting. |

Ian - a very effective image - great expression on the actor's face (possibly a little bright?) and, like Ella, I think the silhouette of the conductor adds so much to the story. I would not crop the image, but I would remove or substantially darken the highlights along the bottom. |

John - well seen and well composed. I particularly like the trees curving over the building almost in protection mode. Nice splash of light on the far end to emphasize the shape nd form. Fortunately no obvious indication of the building's secondary function! Well processed to produce a pleasing image. |
