Ella - as soon as I saw the thumbnail of your image one thought immediately sprang to mind - the vague similarity between your image and our Angel of the North!

So simple yet so effective and produced to your usual high standards - every detail captured to perfection.
As a retired judge of 30 years standing I agree wholeheartedly with Guy's comment! |

Ed - I'm with Ella on this - shapes and textures which you have brought well - maybe a touch more contrast?
Although I hate to cut off the top of trees or shubbery I think that Stuart's crop strngthens the image.
Well seen and I particularly like the grasses in the door lit against the dark background and the view beyond the darkness of the doorway which gives depth to the image. |

Interesting image Nick - you captured the 'decisive moment' admirably. The semi silhouette which retains sufficient detail is spot on and the textur in the sky a real bonus. |

Ian - I love this image! The keys are positioned to perfection and the background sympathetic to the story line.
To my eye the keys are a little flat and would benefit from an increase in contrast selectively. Ed's edit goes a litle too far for me - somewhere in between. |

A truely creative image which has so much more impact than the original. I admire your grasp of Affinity Photo and your persistence in taming it to produce this image. Very well done and clearly a fruitful visit to Salford Quays.
I think that your efforts are all the more rewarding in that you created the image rather than relying on an ap on a smart phone to do the task automatically. |
