Hi Nick - you are correct in assuming that I did not apply my usual Darken/lighten centre to this image :( The far hills were darkened somewhat, maybe a little too much. |

Wd - I regret to say that the image fails to grab my attention. Although it has a strong compositiom and a decent sky overall it feels a little flat and would benefit from an increase in contrast. |

Ella - Nicely caught as usual and well processed although the head, neck, thighs and the light areas of the branch might benefit from a slight darkening.
I would suggest cloning out the intruding branch by the tail. |

Susan - Beautifully photographed and processed retaining good detail in the petals. Your hours of work on the petals was well worth it and the image would grace any wall. Good job! |

Nick - an image with immediate impact, perfect lighting and composition. I like the way in which you have managed to retain detail in the dress and control the lighting on the face. Good job! |

Ian - A 'portrait' with a difference and very effective and unique! I feel that the face needs a little more contrast as the detail is rather vague in places. Also, if this were my image, I would clone out the dark lines on the chin - a little distracting to my eye. |

John - interesting juxtapositioning of shapes and textures. Somewhat abstract, but a pleasing image all the same. |
