31 Dec 21 Comment Ed - somehow I missed your image when I posted my comments - apologies.
I like the combination of straight lines and curves in the image - very geometrical. Given that it was captured under very bright lighting conditions you have done a great job in PP. I have no issues with the crop - I think it tends to enhance the pictorial qualities.
For me the original image is fine and the sky is great. To my eye the increased contrast in the sky does not work - it looks far more natural in the original.

31 Dec 21 Reply Thanks Ella - that is sublime :) Dec 9th
31 Dec 21 Comment Ella - very creative and well constructed as the angel does appear to be flying. Would make a good greetings card (in colour) for this season. I am in two minds re. the grey border, but I guess it works. Dec 9th
31 Dec 21 Comment Paul - an interesting crop of the detail of the bridge - superb detail as you note, but I feel that overall the image is a little flat in the upper 2/3. Dec 9th
31 Dec 21 Comment Michael - a dramatic landscape nicely composed.Highlight details just retained, but I feel that the sky is a little over contrasty. One technique which I use in such situations is to apply a white layer to the image in Soft Light mode and adjust it's opacity to suit. In this case a mask would be needed to expose the sky only. 31 Dec 21 Comment Super image Ian and so suited to monochrome. Crisp and clean and well processed as always.
I am in two minds re. just cropping the hair at the top of the frame, but that is a very minor criticism.

31 Dec 21 Comment Well spotted John - the tree certainly has a certain balletic quality which is very attractive.

The image size allowed here is similar to that requested by many salons, India in particular - 1024x768 at 72dpi and <1MB
