Paul - I'm in two minds as to whether the framing of the image between the two trunks helps or hinders the image. The water and rocks are very attractive, but a little on the dark side for me. |

Ella - an ingenious still life, beautifully arranged, lit and processed with a good leading line in the cloth leading the eye round to the watch.
I just wonder if the top pebble is necessary - without it the watch winder, etc. would be set against the cloth. Just a thought. |

Ed - love the image and the way you have captured the movement in the water particularly around the foreground rock.
I find the image to be a little flat and boosting the contrast a little and darkening down the far bank a little would enhance it. |

Michael - technically a good image bar the highlights on the seat and her upper arm, but, like Ian, I feel that the pose is very awkward and not that attractive. Like John, I find the decorations in the background distracting. |

Ian - a well seen architectural image from a great viewpoint which has a slightly abstract feel about it. Love the shapes and the complimentary reflection. Well processed as usual! |

John - an interesting street photography image which holds my attention. I like the three pairs of people, two of which have apparent eye contact and the third looking on.
I have the same issue as above with the highlights, but feel that the shop sign adds to the narrative although I feel that the 'Class 1 Fruit and Veg' should be darkened down to match the rest of the sign.
The image might be even stronger if the guy with his back to the camera was cloned out. |
