Ella - unlike the other still lives that you have posted here this one does not cut the mustard for me. Accept that it is what a child might assemble, but to my eye it is a little contrived, bland and lacking in artistry. Technically well handles as usual though.
No intention to offend you, but I am sure that you want an honest opinion. |

Ed - I agree with others comments on shutter speed - I feel sure that you would have taken a series of images at different shutter speeds to evaluate at a later date.
Compositionally the image and crop work well particularly the curvature of the falls. |

Michael - another very dramatic cloud, well captured and processed. I'm with Ella on the distraction of the roof which I am sure that you intentionally included in the image. Possibly another viewpoint without the roof and more of the hills and trees? |

Ian - a competent portrait as always in which you have captured the involvement of the young lady in her music.
Ella's suggestion of a vignette would work up to a point - I would be more inclined to marginally darken the top right corner and the white area by her left hand.
I agree with Michael that it would be relatively straightforward to move the mike away from her face a touch.

John - a very dramatic angle with the oval cut out in the roof perfectly placed and complimenting the diagonals of the straightish lines of the roof. The various shades of grey in the roof also compliment the image. Well seen as usual! |
