Thanks Paul, but the 'clouds' are actually a snow bank! |

John - I have to be honest and say that the image does not have a strong appeal to me, but if it pleases you then you have succeeded! One of the distractions which I could not but fail to notice are the halos around each branch. |

Michael - an accomplished image, well exposed and post processed. I have to say that I do not find the subject matter that appealing, but each to his own of course. |

Ella - so glad that you managed to capture this image under adverse conditions - it is great! I particularly like the foreground diagonal mimicking the distant shoreline. The reflection of the glacier in the still waters adds further interest.Icing on the cake would have been an iceberg or two in the mid ground! |

Paul - another excellent portrait from your travels - the expression on the boy's face is delightful and there appears to be eye contact between the two of you. I would consider toning down the highlights in the background, especially those at the top of the frame. I find that the clone tool in darken mode very useful in dealing with highlights that a masked Curves adjustment cannot fix

Ed - A location I have visited on several occasions and I like your take on it. You were fortunate to have a good sky and white salt - not always that way! The side lighting emphasizes the shape of the salt formations and the composition is spot on. |

Ian - an excellent portrait as usual and well processed with the eye being drawn to his face and detail retained in the hair. Great tonal values and a menacing look which adds drama to the image - well done! |
