31 Dec 20 Comment Hi Paul, an image with great potential. I particularly like the simplicity of the composition and the light and texture of the sea in the foreground. I question whether all of the sky is necessary although it does serve to emphasize the insignificance of the islands relative to everything else. The bright patch at the top of the image is distracting and could well be darkened down or cropped off. Alternatively a square crop works quite well. Dec 11th

31 Dec 20 Comment Hi Ian, a superb image of the well known lighthouse at Perch Rock which I have yet to visit. Love the composition with the foreground rock leading the eye directly to the lighthouse topped off with that dramatic sky. One of the best captures I have seen outside of stormy weather! Really well done! Dec 11th

31 Dec 20 Reply Thanks Ella - the 'three little boxes' are the light falling on the fence post between the horizontal slats. Missed that and should have reduced the brightness locally :( Dec 11th
