Ella - an interesting and very complex sculpture - one wonders what was in the sculptors mind and the story, if any, behind the design.
I agree with John that in processing you have lifted the image from record to pictorial status.
The application of Nik CEP 4 Detail Extractor adds a little more to the image in my book. |

Paul - a well balanced image in which your choice of shutter speed has worked out well in retaining enough detail in the water and at the same time implying movement.
The fern like frond on the left is an important element in my view in adding interest. If the image were mine I would be thinking of cloning out the two leaves immediately above it. |

Ed- a very pleasing image in which the succession of rolling hills gives great depth to the image which is complimented by a dramatic sky. Ella's edit transforms the image and adds a lot of impact.

Michael - I too have a particular love of Bryce having visited there on several occasions in the past. An area full of potential images where shape and form rules.
Good arrangement of the hoodoos - the one on the right looks like a mini version of Thor's hammer and you have brought out the textures to good effect. I find that the sky is tending to overpower the hoodoos, but there is not a lot you can do about that on the day. I agree with Ed that the small hoodoo on the left needs to be darkened down a little - not cropped out. |

Ian - well captured with a complimentary sky as the backdrop. Well lit and processed although I too noted the sharpening halos around the entire aircraft! |

John - in my eyes a simple yet very effective image which exemplifies the basics of shape and form, tone and texture It is a very calming image - just what we need at this time, The planetary association was not forefront in my mind when I first saw the image - just a pure abstract which I like very much.
The noise in the background noted above is not that intrusive, but can be dealt with on a masked de noise layer or by simply blurring. Ed's suggestion re. cloning out the light patch in the top right hand corner is spot on although it hardly drags the eye. |
