Ella - this image sure does grab the viewers attention and the tight crop is spot on. Very well lit and processed
with plenty of detail where needed and critically sharp.
Would be interested to see the colour version - that could be amazing! |

Paul - I too like your composition - the layering in the image gives it great depth. The spray behind the rocks across the middle serves to separate them from the sea behind.
I would have liked to see a little more sky above the distant mountains as indeed there is in the colour version which I have to say I prefer - the colours are great. |

Ed - I echo the comments above - a very dramatic lump of rock! I think I would prefer to see a wider view putting the mountain into the context of the surrounding landscape. |

Michael - I really like the tunnel effect created by the trees which leads the eye into the image. I am undecided as to whether or not the image would be stronger with a clearly defined focal point at the end of the trail.
I find the light tones of the leaves top/middle left tend to draw the eye out of the image. As Ella noted this could be stunning in colour - at the right time of year.
