31 Jan 20 Comment Hi Ella - I'm a little envious here! Patagonia has always been on my bucket list, but a trip there is rather unlikely due to cost considerations.

The mountains have real drama especially with the heavy sky and the balance of light and shade in the foothills is about right in my eyes.

The inclusion of the foliage gives a good base to the image, but I am in two minds as to the inclusion of the taller bush at the left of the frame. In some ways it is over dominant.

And if I may respectfully point out the sharpening halos on this bush where it is set against the water. So easy to remove.		 Jan 9th
31 Jan 20 Comment Paul - an excellent portrait capturing the character of the lady who appears to be deep in thought. I have always been a fan of portraits in which the subject is placed to one side with plenty of negative space.

Processing is pretty much spot on although I find the two highlights in the lower right a little distracting. I can imagine that the colour version is equally compelling.		 Jan 9th
31 Jan 20 Comment Ed - this image reminds me of a similar composition which you posted some time ago and IMHO this one is superior.

Great composition with the fence running diagonally across the image leading the eye to the attractively shaped tree. Well processed and your efforts on the sky have paid off - the clouds are just right!		 Jan 9th

31 Jan 20 Comment Ian - the quality of this image is outstanding - you have captured the feel of the chrome to perfection! Although not my sort of image praise where praise is due.
One slight niggle - the Harley badge on the tank is marginally cropped off- a little more space at the top of the frame would have been beneficial. Nevertheless a great job!
