Ella - congratulations on your first infrared image! Not a lot wrong with your processing and the image holds together well with the dominant ploughed area just off centre. Good tonal range although one or two shadow areas are a little blocked up and I find what I assume to be a jet trail very distracting.
I took the liberty of further post processing - image cropped to 16x9, some clouds at the top of the frame cloned out along with the jet trail. Applied highlights/shadows on a masked layer to relieve the v. dark shadow areas. Just my take on your image! |

Ed - this image has grown on me! Strong composition, interesting textures in the flower head, but I am not convinced by the background - I think pure black would be more suitable - subjective of course! |

Unlike Ella this image fails to appeal to me - I had to read your description before realizing the subject was a cat - not at all obvious to me! |

John - I think this is the least successful of your image series from this location - very busy in the background especially where the other people are - somewhat of a distraction. Flipping and cropping the image as Ella has done improves it, but I feel that the sky in this version is a little overdone. |

Another stunning portrait Ian - very dynamic (and somewhat scary as Ella noted) with good tonality. A couple of very minor gripes - a little tight at the top of the frame and the point of the knife is just drifting OOF. Nevertheless a class image! |
