31 May 19 Reply Ian, thank you - much appreciated! It was a long journey, but as they say 'when one journey ends another starts' - I intend to continue exhibiting in International exhibitions for as long as I can as the challenge is irresistible! May 15th
31 May 19 Comment Ella - this image certainly has the 'WOW' factor! Really dramatic pose and the eyes surrounded by the black mask/makeup immediately draw the viewer's attention. Tonal range is excellent and the image has impact although I wonder if this would be enhanced by darkening the background further, maybe to black? May 13th
31 May 19 Comment Paul - a stunning image! Really good pose, excellent tonal range and lighting - a winner in my book!

I agree with Ella's comment on the small highlights on the male dancer's leg/foot and would add for your consideration the small highlight on the tip of the female dancer's right shoe.

31 May 19 Comment Ed - a very attractive image, nicely composed with the bonus of a dark 'stopper' at the base of the image. The detail in the water is spot on as is the shutter speed. I would go along with Paul's edit ans slight crop. May 13th
31 May 19 Comment Rashid - super composition - I like the symmetry of the foreground structures which force the viewer into the main image. The contrasting shapes of various elements of the buildings add interest and hold the viewer's attention, all rounded off by the super reflections in the water. May 13th
31 May 19 Comment John - I concur with the previous comments re. a boost in contrast and putting a little more drama into the sky. Otherwise a good composition with gentle lighting on the boat which draws the eye in and a strong backdrop. May 13th
31 May 19 Comment Ian - a sombre image which reflects well the tragedy at Hillsborough 30 years ago. As a Liverpool supporter I appreciate the sentiment in the image.

As has already been mentioned the sharpening halos diminish the o'all quality of the image.

Congratulations on the possible appointment of preferred photographer - well deserved!
