Raschid - I have to admit that I am not attracted to your image in any way in terms of subject matter, impact and interest. To my eye the tomato could well be a larger egg and in this respect the colour version would be more effective. However I find it hard to live with the narrow depth of field, especially the out of focus foreground. With hindsight the use of focus stacking would have been beneficial here, but overall the image holds no interest for me. Apologies, but I feel sure that you want honest comment.

Photography is all about light and you have nailed it here in your graphic image image. Well seen and a strong study in shape and form. I like the merest hint of detail in the arm rest and although I don't have a problem with the density of the background I think that the image would be strengthened by reducing the highlight on the vertical bar in the top right corner. |

Everything is subjective, but your suggested crop removes the foreground interest which was specifically included to further the sense of depth in the image. |

Ian - an image with dramatic perspective and a step away from a straight 'mug shot' of the cathedral. Pleasing leading lines take the eye up to the highlighted tower set against a plain sky - a real bonus. Pleasing tones and textures throughout. |

Ella - I agree, B&W works quite nicely here.Well processed to retain detail in most of the black feathers. The background ripples/reflections add icing to the cake! |

John - a strong composition with a strong diagonal flow (no pun intended!)in which you have nailed the shutter speed.
My monitor shows detail throughout the white water, but I would take issue with the bright leaves in the top right corner which draw the eye. I would suggest toning them down and would more than likely clone out the upper ones. |
