Yes, I suppose I could have, but I did not. |

As I mentioned before Peggy, the actual reflection is beyond the picture area and that is why it does not show in your picture. I created the reflection only because you and Marti mentioned it, just to see how it looked. |

Yes Marti, there are distractions, but I considered them as secondary elements.
Marti, I am sure you know I could not hate you for anything, far les for your likes and dislikes. Reversing the image has nothing to do with reading from left to right and I can go along with your thinking... I was simply following the guidelines of composition, which state that diagonal lines are stronger when going from lower left to top right then going from top left to bottom right. |

Marti, I noticed it too, but that is very typical for straw to be on a chimp's back. It is part of his character. |

Very nice silowette Marti. It was at that conference when we first met in person. I need to look into my collection of Saguaros. |

Or "You want piece of me?" Very nice portrait Jerry and well presented. I would not crop too tight on the top. You have a little space in the original. |

Welcome back Kaylyn and hope all went well for you.
Very well done and good seeing and catching this scene. Because what I think makes this picture is the formation of the clouds pointing to the lighthouse. Another step to the right, would have centered the the lighthouse better, but perhaps that is not what yiu wanted.A bit more foreground would have helped. |

I love open spaces and you sure found one. I think that the clear sky compliments the scene, but I feel that the foreground can use a some of brightness and sharpening. |

Very creative idea and selection of props Al. You have good sharpness and colors. The top white flowers are a bit overexposed, but it all blends in. I am only disturbed by the image tilting to the left and the heaviness of the flowers on the left side and negative space on the right side. |

I love your Garden picture and I was challenged by yours and Marti's reflection comments. I believe that the reflection is beyond the water's edge and that is why it does not show. However, I wanted to try creating a reflection, so i selected the girl, placed her on another background, then transformed it to a desired size and soften it some, then I flipped it vertically and transferred it to the original image. Also, I removed the distracting ropes and posts by the girl. Does it improve the image for you? |
