22 Nov 25 Comment Thank you everyone for your appreciation and kind words. Only another photographer can truly appreciate what goes into a project like this. Your appreciation means a lot. Nov 20th
22 Nov 25 Reply Thank you for the suggestions Jerry. Yes, I have thought of a PSA Journal article several times, but after 2 1/2 years of work I put it aside. Afterwards, other responsibility have kept me away. All in all, it was only a labor of love and commitment. Nov 19th
22 Nov 25 Reply Thank you Marti, I will consider it. Nov 19th
22 Nov 25 Reply Thank you for looking in, for your appreciation and for your kind words, Stephen. Nov 19th
22 Nov 25 Reply I have not printed any of the images, but the owner of the etchings published a two volume book of the results. He did credit me on the cover and in the book. Nov 19th
22 Nov 25 Comment A story telling image, showing a good separation between the sheep and the dogs, can suggest the technique of compositing. My suggestion for improving this image is cleaning up the left and right side of all the cut off sheep. Nov 19th
22 Nov 25 Comment Yes indeed well done Jerry. Not sure if I follow your process, but it worked very well. I am sure you did not want to make the image too big, but I could do with just a little more space between the images, also you need to extend the canvas in the right side. At that speed, the horse is going to hit his head on the edge of the frame, he, he, he. Nov 18th
22 Nov 25 Comment Yes, nice idea and a good "marrige" Peggy. I agree with Marti on the color tone. Perhaps Camera Raw "auto" and playing with the colors, could get a more realistic tone. Nov 18th
22 Nov 25 Comment I agree Marti that this is a good idea. However, visually it has an uncomfortable or nunatural feeling for me. During my exhibition days when we did montages, the favorite requirement was that the combined images needed to have a "perfect marriage". The background buildings are just overpowering and almost falling onto the Mormon Row Barn. Possibly reducing the size of the background buildings could suggest some separation and a better relation between the two. Nov 18th
