22 Aug 25 Comment Yes, I also agree that this qualifies, although for me it is somewhat disturbing. Nevertheless, as long as an image evokes a feeling, of one way or another, it is considered a successful picture. This could use some brightening. It could loose points for cutting off the limbs on the left and bottom. Aug 10th
22 Aug 25 Comment As Jerry explained better than I could, this is a very nice arrangement. In this I would also consider a little more room all around. Apart from the white streak, I would eliminate the glares at the top of the vaces. See what you think. Aug 10th
22 Aug 25 Comment I agree, Jerry you brought out the colors very nicely. However, where Al prefers the stem perpendicular, I prefer is diagonal. I also would give a little more room all around for motion and growth and cut off the leaf (it can also be totally eliminated, but it may leave an empty area) at top right to eliminate the eye from going out of the picture. 22 Aug 25 Comment This is a simple and effective idea. At first look I was hit by the size comparison of the lighthouse and the other props and I agree with Jerry's comments. The lighthouse needs to stand out more than the secondary objects. A larger and brighter lighthouse or smaller shells would improve this image a great deal. Aug 10th
