Jerry, I love your way of finding the hidden points of an image. The sunset or sunrise, was only used as a colorful prop. I could have used any other colorful background, but if we want to maintain the original thougth of a sunrise, then I will say that it was a sunrise and a beautiful morning. |

Interesting and novil finding Marti. Well done with the composition and you have the goats just in the right place. I would consider brightening it more and cropping a bit from the left and top and clearing any remaining branch tips. |

Jerry, I have done some of these and my attemps were best as verticals. You have an excellent stage to explore under different conditions, especially at sunset time. I think your image is most effective as a vertical. I pumped up the colors a bit and rotated it clockwise, so that the red sky looks like flames of fire going up. Give it some consideration. Consider also cropping some from the bottom to create a better base. |

Good visit Mike in more ways than one. However, I think that this unusual and story-telling image deserves a little enhancing. You may consider adding a little real estate in the front, give it a bit of brightness and eliminate the stones in the left bottom corner and right top corner. |

This brings back memories of the Tucson PSA Conference. From this angle I think the presentation is a s good as it can be. I feel that cropping the tree would spoil the composition. Perhaps you may consider eliminating the unnecessary and distracting branches at the bottom. The B&W tone is okay, but it appears a bit static to me. Perhaps you may consider a Sepia or other tone. |

Compliments on your seeing and processing, you did an excellent job. I think it can stand a little more sharpening. This is your picture to present as you want, but I see no problem for the vehicle to stand alone. For me the trailing vehicle is a distraction that takes my eye away from The Queen. |

Rick, your image caught my eye, because I have done reflections like this and water reflections as well for over 55 years. I sense excitement in you over this image and I am excited for you, so, I hope you do not mind if I share. If this is near you, you can have lots of fun under different light conditions and different seasons and different angles. Water reflections, and especially in the Fall, are even more fun, because of the motion in the water, no two are alike. For water reflections and for sharpness sake, use a tripod and no less than 125th of a second, hand held much faster. Use a polarizing filter, it will enhans the tones. You did very well with this, but it looks to me that the tones of the reflection and the background are too even. I suggest that you make the reflection stand out more by brightening it and toning down the background a bit. |
