22 May 25 Reply Yes Kaylyn, there may be gators in the swampy waters further back, but in over 30 years I never saw one. May 29th
22 May 25 Reply Certainly an improvement, thank you Marti. May 21st
22 May 25 Reply Gled you are pleased Peggy. Also, if I may add, flipping the image, forms a nice strong diagonal line from left to right; minus the distractions. May 21st
22 May 25 Reply Rather than cropping, I suggest cloning any distractions. Cropping the left spoils the composition. May 21st
22 May 25 Comment Also, if I may add, as is, the posts kind of lead my eye out of the picture. By reversing it, my eye leads right to and stays on the trees. May 18th
22 May 25 Reply No Al, hand held. Cell phones do a lot of compensating and are very forgiving. May 16th
22 May 25 Comment I like the crispness of this image. Yes, I too feel the sky can be cropped. But just as a suggestion, what do you think of the post line to go from left to right? I also leveled it a bit. May 16th
22 May 25 Comment Fog is also very misterious and at time frightening as well. This too is a good telling story and I love the semi-silhouetted tips of the trees. But Mike, i must ask you, how come you captured only a vertical and not a horizontal picture? I would have loved seeing more of those treetops. May 16th
22 May 25 Comment "Half and Half" or "Stormy Weather". I compliment you on good seeing and quick action. The electric/telephone poles also help to tell the story. Perhaps Marti can tell us how many different clouds inand their names in this image. May 16th
22 May 25 Comment Yes Jerry, very well done and I love your technique, simple and effective. Yes, I also agree on cropping about 50% of the water. May 16th
22 May 25 Comment You certainly have a good weather image, Peggy. Due to your skilful knowledge of Lightroom, you made it pop up. However, it appeared to me too heavy on the left. I started to play with the cropping and then I thought of flopping it and then it was more comfortable to my eye. See what you think. May 16th
22 May 25 Comment I think Jerry as nailed this image very well. Yes, the B&W does give a very misterious effect. I also have not heard of these clouds, Marti. I am impressed with your knowledge of clouds. I will be looking for them in the future, as well as Jerry's headless horseman. Actually Jerry, I think I have found the face of the horseman in the clouds. I made a rough outline of the face to give you the idea of where the face is, but if you look at it without the outline, you will see what I mean. May 16th
