Thank you for all your comments and appreciation. Jerry, well put. This was a special tour which we visited the alps of Italy, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I will find other images to share with you. |

Well, so far we all agree that to salvage this image something must be done with the sky. Technically the image looks good to me, but pictorially, the four silos are kind of static; three would be better. My suggestion is to replace the sky with a sky that includes a sun, which would kind of kiss the tip of the second or third silo. However, since it appears that the light is coming from the top left, the top of th silos must be toned down considerably. |

I was going to make about the same comments, but what is in favor is that they are all going the same way and where not intimidated by your presence. |

Yes it is. If any of you exhibit internationally, I am sure you know that other than exposure and color toning, photojournalism, photo travel and nature images cannot be manipulated in any way. This may go for local competitions, but for internationals, it would need an image that showed the victim as well, (just sharing). |

Yes, I agree, this is a nice find, which could present many interesting pictures under different light conditions. As much as I agree that the texture of the walls is interesting and story-telling, I see a different composition. I feel that the most interesting part of the image is on the right and that the left side is distracting and that it takes away from it. By cropping most of the left side, we can concentrate where the main focal point is. I also toned down the foreground a bit. |

I love patterns and I love to play with them. This reminds me of a plastic countertop.
Since we have no place for ur eye to rest, we can consider this entire image as the composition. I flipped it vertically and then horizontally and it is easier to my eye. What about yours? And to Al's suggestion, I brightened and pumped up the contrast. |
