Yea, I tried flipping it, but it did not improve the composition. Good point on the bottom. |

Kaylyn, this image belongs in a square frame. Gerry has a good suggestion. You can also flip the image vertically, which makes the bud less noticeable, or replace it with one of the other buds. |

Mike I agree with what has been said. I consider the entire image as the composition, allowing the eye to float from place to place. The foreground compliments the soft and out of focus background. My objection is the edges, especially the right side, which has a dominant stalk that leads the eye right out of the picture. With a little patience, I am sure you can clean up the edges for a more pleasing composition. |

This is a lovely cactus flower. Many yers ago I also photographed the backside of the same or a cousin flower in Italy. You have a good composition and I am puzzled as to why you filled in the top with a distracting red instead of green. My eye goes to that red and away from the flowers. |

Basically, this is considered to be an abstract image. Therefore, any color tone is acceptable. I envy your backyard of water, which can explore all sorts of water reflections. Personally, I like the tones and the image as it is. But an objection you may hear is that since the water is so still, you have two pictures. A suggestion to that would be to use either the wave or ZigZag filter to create some waves on the water. |

What you did Peggy was very effective, because it brought the flowers to life.
But what I like the moss is that the eye flows beautifully from the main bottom flower to the upright one, the bud and back to the main flower (or at least my eye). |

Excellent choice of images and good job. I do not believe anyone could tell it was a composite. My only wonder is: Would it be better with the red on top and the blue on the bottom?
Yes, I would also welcome a theme of composites or blending. |
