Peggy, although non of the actual subject show as in pictures, I always leave a bit of the actual scene to serve as a base for the reflection to stand on; see at bottom. |

Dramatic skies do not happen too often and you are fortunate to get this one. The people add to the human interest, but I would consider toning down the color of the cap to keep the concentration in the sky. |

Excellent outside of the box thinking. I also made a similar cut-out from a bison picture and then I used it as a frame with a scene floating in the background in my Grand Canyon digital presentation. I feel that the soft edge concentrates the eye more on the scene without any distraction from the sharp edge. |

No, Jerry, You did such a good job that I can hardly see any difference. You did not give any details, but I must presume that the car is moving at a high speed and I compliment you for getting such sharpness. Interesting also is how the colors of the track compliment the colors of the car. |

This is kind of historical and memorable image. You did well in bringing out the colors. Perhaps darkening the water a bit and cropping a little from the top and right side may help. |

Excellent and unusual capture Al. Perhaps it could use a little cropping from the top. |

Peggy, the more I look at this the more I want to look at it. Although the two hanging lanterns are not directly in line, the overall image is well balanced. I wonder if it would improve by brightening a bit the first left archway to balance the right side. I tried it and see what you and the others think. |
