22 Mar 23 Reply Good points Kaylyn. Thank you. Mar 22nd
22 Mar 23 Comment Congratulations Mike as the Monthly Showcase selection. Your images often challenge our eye to see beyond what we can see. Mar 22nd
22 Mar 23 Reply Yes, I suspected you would feel that way and I agree to keeping true to the scene. I only suggested for consideration. Mar 11th
22 Mar 23 Reply Thank you Mike for your compliments and appreciation, but I (and Jerry) think that
the couple in the center would make the composition kind of static. If you think about it, you too will come to the same conclusion.

22 Mar 23 Reply Yes Jerry, the sky is too bright and I was trying to tone it down or put some blue into it with little success. Mar 8th
22 Mar 23 Comment As already noted, you have created a beautiful panorama and one worth to print. However, two points you may want to consider. One, I would tone down a bit the brightness and pump up a bit the colors in the trees. Two, the clouds are a bit overpowering, perhaps you can reduce them a bit and crop down some. In other words, try to keep the eye more on the mountains and trees, than the clouds. Mar 8th
22 Mar 23 Comment I agree with Peggy. The bottom cranes are a distraction. This is a beautiful scene of action and I think that you have lost the whole effect of the scene by cropping so much from the top. To my estimate, the background and sky is what makes this picture. Some times I think we read too much into a picture and we fix what is not broken. Mar 8th
22 Mar 23 Comment Excellent human connotation and story telling image. The two are looking towards the same direction and in spite of the fact that the left hand of the parent and the right foot of the baby, are cut off, it is an excellent capture and you did do a good job of processing. Also you did good not cleaning the hay particles on the baby, it is part of their makeup. Mar 8th
22 Mar 23 Comment I echo the previous comments and I really do not mind the orange tones, I think of it as the color of that time. At times we deliberately change to sepia or other tones for a special effect. I especially compliment you for the detail you brought out from the washed out window. Mar 8th
22 Mar 23 Comment Nice job processing this image and my reaction is same as Jerry's, only I would not crop the sky as much as Jerry did. Sorry, I could not resist flipping this oe over. Mar 8th
