No problem Marti, but sorry for not making myself more clear before. My intent was not to show a pictorial abstract, but just to show the effect I created… Not sure if I have come across something you have not, and this may not interest everyone, but while in Smart Sharpen, I decided to play with the scales to see what would happen. I pumped up Amount: to 358, Radius: to 45, Reduce Noise: to 8; and I kind of liked the effect. Then in Photoshop I repeated three times, Filter >Smart Sharpen for the effect I submitted… I have-not done much experimentation, but I would venture that one can use some tools in Photoshop and by playing with the scales and repeating the same step several times, come up with interesting effects. Then in Hue/Saturation or other color tools, make changes to a desired effects. Just sharing in case it is something you may want to try.

I will wait a day or two for Mike's comments and then get back to you.
Sorry, I did not make myself clear. I will just say that the image is only to show the result of a technique and not intended as a pictorial image. |

Beautiful scene and great colors. For me the focal point is in the center background. As I stare at it, I imagine a figure appearing any second. I do wonder what the possibilities could be from the other side. I am a bit bothered by the big bolder on the right. I am also sure that the reflection could present lovely images as well. Fall water reflections make beautiful pictures. By flipping them upside down, they look like water color paintings. |

Provide one has the light, even hand-held at f16, this angle could get it sharp. Yes, a bit brighter would help. "All in a Raw" is okay, but I think that either from the left or the right, a diagonal angle would give it more strength and impact. |

Beautiful texture and colors. I would have like to see a bit more of the bottom of the front wheel. One suggestion is to straighten the image so that the lines of the hood look straight; unless you want it slanted. |

Excellent conversion and addition of the moon. It gives that space look. It may be an illusion, but it looks like it is leaning to the right. I would not eliminate anything from the left, but I would clone out the bar that is leading the eye out of the picture on the right bottom side.

Not knowing the area, it is hard to say what angle would be best. Marti did a good job
eliminating the trees, but now looks as if something is missing. Perhaps one tree would be sufficient. I think it may help if the left side is cropped the the tall tree. |

What a lovely portrait of a Hawk. I love the sharpness of the feathers and especially around the beak. Yes, I also feel it needs more space all around. I would also like to see it a bit brighter and bring out the eyes. |
