Well done Kaylyn. This is a technique I have wanted to do for years. I echo Jerry's sentiments and I wonder if you rotated the camera by hand or if you used a special device. Please ell us more. |

Congratulations for your quick thinking and for capturing this 'fleeting moment'. This is well composed with a strong base to support the tree. Your opening was just in the right place. Perhaps you may consider the opening for other possible montages. I suspect it was taken in color and it shows in B & W, which is perfect as it is. Not totally necessary, but you may consider removing the tips of branches (probably from another tree) in the right bottom corner. |

Dahlias always give lovely abstract patterns and contours. Hope you do not mind for playing with this. But, I feel that the top part is a bit overpowering. So, I flipped it to the side and twisted it to the left and with Content Aware checked, continued to crop it. Then I brightened it and pumped up the contrast and sharpened some. See what you think. |

Again Marti, I go along with what you said and you sure gave the image more life, but unless it is my monitor, I feel that it needs more brightness and a little more warmth. |

Yes, the symmetry is what makes this picture and Marti simplified it nicely. It could use more light, but then it is a museum. |

Al, I think you are on the right track in exploring the various filters of Topaz. Perhaps the outline filter could give good results. For me, the composition is in the three tallest cactus on the right. They appear to interact with each other. Perhaps you may consider my version. I pumped up the green on the three and softened the rest. I also think that a good title for it would be the lines from the movie "Marty": "What do you want to do?...I don't know, what do you want to do?" |

No, it was never intended to be a favorite nor intended to be a total abstract. My main point is to demonstrate that pictures can be found in the strangest places and are only limited by our imagination. |

I am rushing a reply in the hope that it may help others as well.
The table and the people around it are in a tent during a Daytona Bike Week. Thus, the orange colors are reflections on the chrome bottom base of the table (looking down), from the top of the tent. |
