To my eye, at first glance, the image looked kind of static. I think that the posts fill in negative space. I would only crop the one on the left and the one on the right and leave the rest in. The clean snow gives that feeling of cold and loneliness. |

At first glance it gave me the impression of something that has been sitting under water. Mike, it is amazing of all these treasures you have on your farm. Yes, the wheel shows its age. Apart of the ideas mentioned, I suppose you could consider other possibilities, such as close-ups, selective focussing from the wheel, to the wheel, from the windshield, to it, etc, etc... |

Al, I love the rust, the color tones and the texture you created. As Jerry said: "Fits in really well." However, since you decided to make this a creative abstract, I think that a little more work will improve the composition a great ideal and I was challenged to show you. Since the left side was negative space, I kind of moved it to the right side. Actually. all I moved and flipped was the clouds. I first extended the canvas on the right and then extended a bit on the bottom, to fill in the missing space on the right and bottom. I then filled in the blank canvas with the Healing Brush and cloned in the shadow, cropped and flattened. I hope it demonstrates what I wanted to say. |

Three of us presented buildings and three cars, but you Jerry used your imagination and that is to be complimented... I also considered taking out my mother's old table Singer machine, which dates to the early 1930s. How far back does your machine go? Well done and good idea... But Peggy and Marti, what you did not notice is that, that those are not the hands of the operator, but the hands of the helper of the operator. He, he, he... |

Yes, I too love the colors on and around the lighthouse. Yes, I am also sure that after cloning out the boat, you have various other composition possibilities. |

The stormy mood and the aged wood, sure says: "old". This new technique of replacing skies is very good, but I believe that the halo that it may form around subjects, is characteristic of it and something to be aware of. |

Yes Marti and Mike. I was so glad to be able to put the twi images together, that I did go to the left top corner. Yes, much more can be dome, but just let me say: 'It is an old building'. |

Yes Jerry, perhaps I did not make myself clear, but I tried to explain that the window and wreath came from a third picture. The bulge was created by the stitching. I suppose I should have put a line to it. Yes, the child is my granddaughter. |

Thank you Al and I agree with your observations.
I did try to brighten it, but it was creating too much blue tones.
Yes, both left and right top corners could use more work, but it may be better to drive the 35 miles and get a cleaner and more current image. |

Great work Bruce, even for a beginner of many years ago.I am sure you can look back with much gratification. Even today I would not be able to create such a beautiful poster. |
