In spite of what you say Mike, I am sure all will agree that you created a lovely mood image, either through filters or tools. It is certainly a great improvement over the original. I do wish we had more foreground to lead our eye to the background and less sky.

Thank you all for your appreciation of the original image, as well as the final image. I just want to clarify that the original image was used as something colorful to create a colorful Twirl Effect. Almost any image can be used to create a similar result of different colors and tones.

Al, you found the perfect filter for this image. The curves of the Liquefy filter, created the perfect spooky Halloween picture.

Jerry, what can I say that has not been said already? Apart from all the work you put into this, I compliment you for pre-visualizing this artistic image.
Perhaps Marti will consider a future assignment of finding THE picture within a common picture.

Congratulations Peggy on achieving such a beautiful result. As I recall, my attempts with the Polar Coordinates filter, had a line in the center. Yours is nice and clear. Well done! I must try your technique.

Very nice effect you created Marti. I particularly love the crispness and colors complimenting with the Poster Edges. I would not consider changing the composition in any way.

As you may know, I love all kind of patterns and designs. This is no exception. You have a pleasing design and lovely color tones, but I feel that the straight edges all around, conflict with the main design. I picture this to be more oval with all the straight lines cropped out. |
