Thanks Jerry, yes hand-holding, but in all fairness, I was probably steadying myself somewhere. |

The color of the Prickly Pears and the mosaic, make an excellent combination. It is just the arrangement of the Prickly Pears that is disturbing to me. To my eye, the one on the left does not appear to be part of the group and the one in the background is distracting. I tried eliminating them, flipping and flopping the image, but I am sorry, I could not come up with a better suggestion. But that is just me. If you are pleased with the arrangement, that is all that matters. It is a good concept and I hope you have the chance to create other studies. |

I liked the original version because of its crispness, but I also like a combination of both, as Marti suggests. It is more realistic. |

Yes Kaylyn, as Jerry and Mike say, if possible, a bit to the left and a lower angle, the tree would have been against the sky and make a statement of its own. I in particular love the formation of the clouds, which appear to be bursting from the center and upward. |

Mike, I perfectly agree with Jerry's observation. The cropping gives the perfect composition to concentrate on the lamb and the ewe. I also add to give it a bit of Curves darkening to further bring out the rim light. |

What a great improvement from the original. I love the contrast the dried vines and the sharpness. This was great seeing and great post processing. However, I think that by flipping this horizontally, it improves the composition.

I am always fascinated by the interesting patterns reflections can create. The distractions mentioned by Mike can be easily eliminated. What disturbs me is the competing contrast of the fence and the reflection. So, Jerry, I am not sure if you mind, but the image inspired me to create an entirely new design. This can be done with almost anything and with the images reversed as well. If you like this idea, then you can also consider filling in the center with another image or other complimentary images.

Mosaic Prickly Pears is kind of a conducive concept. Jerry's suggestion may give it more pop, but there is something disturbing to me about the composition. I tried various ways, but I could not come up with a better suggestion.

This is a lovely pristine image of a poinsettias, but as Jerry points out, it needs a bit of contrast. Because of all the beautiful lines and curves, I am thinking that perhaps one of the Topaz techniques, such as Blue & Yellow or B&W High Contrast, could bring out those lines and curves.
