Yes Jerry, what I miss most of all from the north, are the Fall Colors. However, Georgia and Tennessee also offer some spectacular Fall Colors. Perhaps next Fall, if possible and if you would like, you could drive up to me and we can both explore the Georgia colors.

What a lovely and peaceful scene? Perhaps a bit centered, but then, I do not know what the viewing possibilities are. Yes, Marti's pop helped. The glow on the water creates a nice contrast… If the rim around the lake is not growth, could it be fallen foliage from a wind storm that fell on the lake and then settled around the lake?

Yes, very interesting branch. It appears to look like the rack of a buck. I did a bit of flipping and flopping and here is one I came up with. |

This is story-telling, action and nostalgic image, which we rarely see any more. All good suggestions for improvement. You can control the color of the sky and mountains by selecting out of your processing and you can keep as much of the steam you want by simply Content-Aware out the big tree on the right. You should also be able to bring out more green on the trees.

Another "good seeing" subject. As much as I agree with everyone on using the three colors, Jerry's abstract is something different and what makes it stand out for me is not only the two colors, but the texture on the wall. Graffiti such as this, offer all sorts of abstract possibilities, such as flipping the image all sorts of ways and finding all sorts of different compositions, pump up the colors, such as this. |

With all that has been said, there is little left for me to say. It certainly is an inviting scene. I agree with Al about the walkway, but at the same time, the fence and the walkway add the element of human interest. You're remake Marti, is an improvement, but for me, it could use a little more brightness.

Beverly, no, it is not overdone. I like your version more, because it leaves more room on the right of the rider. |

Al & Marti, I considered removing the pole and the sign, but at the same time I felt that they are part of the scene. Marti, you did a good job, but too tight on the right. |
