22 May 19 Comment Thank you everyone for your reaction and appreciation, but, Jerry and Al, I marvel at your vivid imaginations. I always love how much you can see in a picture.

Well, I believe we have challenged the idea of "creating and making the picture in the camera" with remarkable results outside the camera. Another thought that comes to mind is that when we are trying to tell a story with pictures, often we have missing pictures to fill the gap. We should not be too hasty to toss pictures out before exploring the possibility of salvaging our toss-aways.

22 May 19 Comment Excellent Kaylyn! I tried one of these recently and the results are surprising. It is amazing the colors you were able to achieve, from an almost B&W photo. The pattern suggests a lovely flower, perhaps you will consider adding a stem.

22 May 19 Comment Nicely done Mike!, from a total throwaway to soft dreamy and vivid colors. The top right and bottom left corners are distracting to me. I would like to consider cloning out the distractions and using some form of vignetting, as Marti did, but I miss the brightness of the colors. I also added a bit of sharpness and brightness and Stroke.
Marti, good job of bringing out the rest of the surrounding image.

22 May 19 Reply Peggy, good idea of using a painterly or texture effect to distract from the lack of sharpness. Thank you.

22 May 19 Comment Al, I can go along with your thinking about the eagle, but I think that by leaving more water, it would improve this composition. Now the picture is more about algae and texture. Perhaps toning down the brightness and cooling the colors a bit, would help. May 2nd
22 May 19 Comment My, my, there was a vulture behind that screening! Excellent thinking Jerry. It is amazing what imagination and technology can do. Apart from bringing out these colors, you did an excellent job of eliminating the screen. Now I know where to send all my behind the scree bird pictures.

22 May 19 Comment Peggy, I think you did more than just matching your vision, you created a new and story-telling image. The action and softness of this image, go hand in hand and it is perfectly acceptable. To give the appearance of open space, I would consider expanding the background on both sides, but that is only a matter of preference.

22 May 19 Comment Marti, you had a good idea to select just one mobile out of the image presented and as Jerry said, you did a good job of selecting. I do not suppose you could do any better with the sharpness, but I think we should see a little more brightness and sparkling.
