Yes Marti, I love this effect and I miss the PixelBender. I like your version and Jerry's version as well, only in Jerry's version too much of the chain gets lost. I am sure there must be other ways of achieving this in Photoshop.

Marti, the lens was a Canon 10-22mm on a Canon 50D camera.
Thank you everyone. |

For me, what makes this portrait unique is the little 'smirch' on the model's face. Her head is in the clear part of the sky and I have no problem with the horizontal format. The image is sharp and clean and pleasing to look at. If I had to be picky, I would just say that the placement of her arms, is kind of unnatural. |

"Red on Red" is clever, creative and great manipulation and above all, very realistic. Congratulations! |

Okay, Mike and Jerry, following your idea, I redid my image and this is what I decided on, without getting the image to distorted. Thank you. |

I always enjoy delicate weeds and water reflections. I think you can improve on this and have some fun doing it.
First, I would flip this horizontally for more visual comfort.
Second, clean a bit the top left and right corners.
Third, Clone and transfer the top weed merging with the frame and place it at a pleasing location on the right.
Fourth, play with the Channel Mixer or the Hue/Saturation, or combination of the two, for the result that pleases you best.

John, I would have liked to see more of the silhouetted foreground, which is much more interesting than the sky. A lower angle would have emphasized more the bushes against the sky.

Good choice Peggy. I love the way you brought out the colors and that you left part of the roof on the left. It is a good eye-breaker. The reflection of the bridge, kind of gives another element of depth. I would have included more of the foreground (as in the original), because I think it creates more depth for the eye to follow through. The platform in the right, can be eliminated by Cloning some of the foliage onto it. |
