Lovely tones of color and I am amazed how you were able to get opposite outward lines on the right and left sides.

Yes, interesting and unusual to see a sheep on a tree. Only I think that the sheep at the bottom appears to be looking up, but if I am not mistaken, I think it is looking to the right.

Nice abstract creation. This is the kind of picture that does not need a focal point, since the entire image is the focal point. The eye travels all around from image to image. The shadows and the lines between each image create a comfortable separation. However, my eye keeps going from top left to right bottom, the brighter areas. I think it would be better with the brighter area in the center.

Jerry, I think you had the best understand of the assignment; well done. I especially like the shadows and the reflecting highlights. Only suggestion is the leave more room from the top and right side. The set appears too confined.

Good job of creating a colorful HighKey Derivation. I am not sure if it needs cropping from the top. By doing so, I feel that it would spoil the patterns of the green tones all around the flower.

This is 'imagination' at its best. I am sure it amazed many spectators. Yes Marti, you did a great job of recovery. Yes, today we can recover more from an overexposed RAW image than an underexposed one. |

Mike, Thank you for your honest critique, observations and effect my "Solar Energy" had on you. This is the whole purpose of our Study Group exchange… Yes indeed, the images are digital cut-outs and they are digitally combined. I never tried to conceal that. The combined images are only to demonstrate a fictitious concept in a humorous way and not reality. You give me too much credit when you call me "a pro". I have said many times that I am not an expert with Photoshop and my modest techniques demonstrates that clearly, but I try and make an effort to improve. I look forward to other comments. |
