22 Jun 18 Reply Hi Jerry and thank you for your interest.

No, I did not use a Polarizing filter, but I did try to angle myself as to eliminate as much of the glare and reflections on the case. Then in CR and PS, I utilized Dehaze, Nose Reduction, Clarity and Sharpness, as well as toning down some spots with the Burn tool.

My understanding is that this is the actual model, but not the actual camera he used. I am attaching another image which if you enlarge the caption, you can see that the camera was donated by Robert W. Stinnett. Hope this helps.

22 Jun 18 Reply Yes Jerry, the whole idea of the birds in the rain and making it look realistic. However, what selecting method did you use to get so much detail in the feathers of the storks? Jun 11th
22 Jun 18 Comment Peggy, this has a beautiful electrifying effect. Good choice of effects. Jun 10th
22 Jun 18 Comment Mike this is a beautiful mood picture and what really made is that you waited for the right light. I agree with what was said and cropping, as Peggy suggests, helps, but if you can select the sky successfully (perhaps Jerry can help) and tone it down a bit, it would help greatly. Also, it may not be leaning to the right, but it appears that it does, at least to me, so it can use a little tilt to the left.

22 Jun 18 Comment "Teun the Magnificent" knows he is the star and must be familiar with the 'click' of the camera. Since he stands so proudly, I do not mind him in the center. Perhaps you can consider toning down the trees on the right side, so that they are less noticeable. Jun 10th
22 Jun 18 Comment John, this is magnificent. You captured a 'decisive moment' with an almost perfect composition. I say almost perfect composition, because I would like to see the man on the right, just a bit to the right, but it can be overlooked. From the motion in their legs, it appears that you captured the scene as the men were still moving, giving momentum to the story. The only thing that disturbs me is what appears to be a folded umbrella by the right elbow of the left man. With a little patience, I am sure it can be eliminated. The halos could also have been created by the bright light reflecting from the wall/picture. Jun 10th
22 Jun 18 Comment Jerry, you are to be complimented, first for visualizing this effect and second for accomplishing it. At first look I said: 'how did he get the birds so sharp with a long exposure?' You did an excellent job of selecting the storks. May I ask: what method di you use? Good one!

22 Jun 18 Comment Marti, I did find the turtle, but only after I saw the face of a Baboon. Interesting texture, but I am sure you can brighten it up a bit and sharpen as well.
