22 Apr 18 Reply Thank you Mark for your appreciation and suggestion. Missed you at the last couple conferences. Apr 13th
22 Apr 18 Comment Yes! this is a powerful composition and I compliment you for seeing it and capturing it. Following Jerry's suggestions, would be an improvement, but I will also add to tone down the background a bit and brighten the subject a bit. You want the subject to really pop up. Perfect framing too. Apr 11th
22 Apr 18 Comment Beautiful catch and formation of the Cranes. Amazing that even at 1/2000 of a second, the sharpness misses a bit. Perhaps if you can select the eyes and sharpen them a bit, it may help. The cloud below is a bit disturbing, but you may consider eliminating it entirely or extending the bottom a bit, to give the composition a better base. Apr 11th
22 Apr 18 Comment John, you are to be complimented for thinking outside the box. Keep doing it and eventually something great happens. I agree with Jerry and I do appreciate your way of thinking, but somehow I do not really see the relation between the two. Perhaps if we could see more of the boy on the left, there would be a better connection, but I am not sure. Keep trying.

22 Apr 18 Comment Jerry, I think you have achieved your goal. Comparing with the original, it is hard to say, but no, I do not think that your enhancement would be noticed if you had not mentioned it. Again, comparing with the original, I must say you did a beautiful job of sharpening and enlarging. I realize you did not want to include any sky, but the only thing that disturbs me is the crown or crest falling to the left, leads my eye out of the picture.

22 Apr 18 Comment Peggy, this is a very nice cluster of poppies. I agree with Jerry's assessment and following his idea, I not only moved in the flower on the right (select>Layer>New>Layer Via Copy>move), but I also flipped the entire image horizontally and cropped some from the left. I also removed the little purple flower on the edge. Not sure if this composition would please you, but it is an just an idea you can work on.

22 Apr 18 Comment Well done Marti, this is really an eye-catcher. Good composition, color and sharpness and most important, one that has human interest.
