Thank you, Janet. Inside the building, the lighting was dim and the imagery small, so I couldn't clearly discern the narrative the artist intended-but the experience still evoked a strong, positive feeling. Several other installations shared a similarly avant-garde tone. I chose this one because its colors reminded me of camouflage, yet the building itself seemed to proclaim, "Notice me." |

Thanks Rose, I will try croping a little on the top and left and then removing the people. |

Mark, your image beautifully captures the quiet drama of winter. The icy branches glisten with texture, and the added cardinal introduces a striking focal point and narrative. Slight sharpening of the bird could enhance realism, but overall, a compelling and poetic scene. |

Angela, I'm inspired by your creativity-transforming a simple vase into an elegant, artful portrait. The soft lavender tones and gentle lighting create a serene mood, while the offset keyline adds a distinctive, modern touch. A beautifully composed, uplifting image.

Kurt, impressive hand-held pano-nicely stitched and processed. Your attention to detail, especially in removing distractions and enhancing contrast, really elevates the image. Great composition and storytelling. Well done. |

Jennifer, this is a strong, moody capture. The B&W suits the historic feel, and your composition is well considered. Cropping the dark cloud, as others noted, helps center focus. Both versions have merit-well done. |

Rose, your "Sketch Stacey" radiates warmth and creativity-a tender portrayal of your daughter rendered with thoughtful nuance. Your use of soft color over black and white gives the piece a refreshing individuality that enhances emotional depth.
The framing grain effect subtly directs attention and adds a touch of artistic drama. I echo the gentle suggestion to include a bit more of the jumper on the right-it could add balance and a sense of grounding without detracting from the portrait's delicacy.
Altogether, it's a heartfelt and well-executed piece. Beautiful work.

Janet, thank you for sharing "Fireworks." The vibrancy and composition truly spark joy-an apt metaphor for July celebrations. You've captured the essence of summer with a simplicity that's both compelling and authentic.
From an artistic lens, the cropping was a smart decision, enhancing focus and eliminating distraction. The strong central composition and saturated colors give the image its celebratory feel.
For growth: consider subtle adjustments to highlights, as noted by others. A light touch in post-processing might deepen impact without compromising the natural charm.
Overall, a delightful, eye-catching submission. Keep capturing what brings you joy!

I agree Angela; the crop was too tight. I like what you have done here. |
