81 Apr 25 Reply I agree, the image of the rock coming out of the water to meet the sky is the visual subject. Thanks! Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Reply I agree... in the composition I tried to get both the water and clouds... it did not work as well as I had hoped. Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Reply I think a little less editing and more of the natural shot would have been better... the competing blues of the water and the sky blended well on the original... but less on the edited copy. Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Reply I like this version and thank you for the suggestions. Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Comment Angela, your creativity always inspires me! I love how the black base and background isolate the glowing trails-it's mesmerizing. The color work is striking, especially the contrast with the dark environment. I might suggest leaving a bit more space at the bottom to balance the composition. Still, this is an elegant and imaginative capture. Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Comment I really enjoyed this image, Kurt. The title adds a fun narrative, and your post-processing choices-especially removing the railings and enhancing the sky-were work for me. The architectural lines are strong; straightening the edge columns slightly could refine it further. It's a clean, evocative shot that captures both place and spirit. Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Comment Rose, your composite image deeply moved me. The contrast between the color and black-and-white elements powerfully conveys the emotional narrative. I admire how you've visually expressed remembrance and grief-it's both personal and universally touching. The placement in the clouds is beautifully done. Thank you for sharing such a meaningful tribute. Apr 24th
81 Apr 25 Comment Janet, I really appreciate how you captured Miss Lexi's expressive gaze-there's a lovely sense of connection and warmth. The soft background works well to highlight her features. Personally, I found the right side of the border a bit distracting; simplifying it might help. Overall, it's a touching and beautifully timed portrait. Apr 24th
