Jean, in my CGI photography group, I frequently use MidJourney to blend photographic elements, creating compelling and unique reinterpretations of the originals. This approach not only expands creative possibilities but also challenges traditional notions of photographic authenticity. As technology evolves, so too does our understanding of image-making, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression. |

Jean, I share your perspective and hope to see an evolution in PSA guidelines-not necessarily for competition, but to embrace a broader scope of creative expression. With the rapid advancements in technology and AI, the boundaries of digital photography are continuously shifting. It will be interesting to see whether these tools eventually become accepted within the framework of competition or remain outside its purview. Either way, the conversation around image-making and artistic intent remains invaluable.

Ed, the process journey from the original to edited version was complex for me.... but the beauty of the final outcome is awesome. I dont have much to add the comments of others. |

I like the subject and agree that the background in both photos is distractive.
Ed's version with a more subdued background allows me to focus more on the beauty and activity of the subject. I like that Ed also used the dominant color from the original photo as the revised background. |

Amazing image - it is almost surreal in color and form. The feel is almost enchanted - storybook like. For me the natural beauty of the image evokes calm and satisfying visual aesthetics. |

Jean, I love what you did with this image and the iPhone. I too have 2 Canons and both are too heavy for me - I am actually donating one of my Canons to my neice who has a passion for photography.
Thanks for the camera details which I will need to learn how to capture. I also love how you infuse the AI technology into your process to enhance the image's visual impact.
I do hope PSA will allow some form of emerging technology in the future. Your images are beautifully inspiring Jean. Welcome to the group. |

I loved the original Brenda but the revision is more serene and calming. Both are outstanding capture and edits. I do think the revised image is more natural. |

Tom, great job capturing such an iconic moment from Scrooge the Musical! Despite the challenging lighting, your adjustments really help bring balance to the highlights and shadows, and the crop works well to focus on the characters. The Spirit of Christmas Present and Scrooge look fantastic, and the image conveys the mood of the production beautifully. Well done!" |

Angela, the triptych style really elevates the composition and adds a sense of artistry to the piece. The black background works perfectly to make the lilies stand out, and your attention to color-enhancing the reds and desaturating the cyan-brings a balanced vibrancy to the flowers. The use of natural light from the window adds a lovely softness to the image. Fantastic execution! |

Kurt this is an awesome shot of Lone Peak! The hike to capture this view was well worth it-the composition really showcases the grandeur of the mountain. Removing the house was a great call; it keeps the focus on the natural beauty of the scene. The dehaze adjustment adds a lot of depth to the sky, making the peak stand out even more. Incredible work!" |

Randall fantastic capture! The behavior of the eagles swooping in for fish makes for such an engaging story, and the 600mm lens really brought them to life in the frame. Your post-processing choices were great-adjusting the exposure, contrast, and texture really enhanced the details in the feathers and the overall dynamic feel of the scene. Amazing work capturing such a dramatic moment! I loved seeing the eagle steal the prize! |

Rose beautiful work! It reminds me of a fantasy dreamscape. White Sands National Park is such a stunning location, and you captured the wind patterns in the sand beautifully. The black-and-white treatment really highlights the texture and contrasts, giving the image a timeless feel. It's a great choice for a setting like this-well done!" |

Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the scenery and the crop's focus on the island. Great point about the horizon-I'll make sure to straighten it to keep the water level accurate. I appreciate the suggestion! |

Kurt thank you for the thoughtful feedback! I'm glad the clouds and foreground edits worked well to enhance the image. I appreciate the suggestion about cropping in further to highlight the buildings-I'll definitely give that a try to bring out more detail. Always learning from insights like yours, so thank you! |
