The monochrome is interesting but I like the color - for some reason in color the path to the second bridge is more engaging. In the monochrome version the second bridge is less a part or the subject and more a part of the background. |

This a wonderful capture and thanks for the storytelling on the dew drops! I agree with Jim - reducing the brightness enhances the focus on the subject. Great job! |

I like both the crop and focus on the rider. I have no suggestions to add. |

I think I prefer the subject focused on the horses. It is the sculpture that caught your eye. It is not clear to me what story is being told with the girl. In color or black and white I would crop the girl out. For me she distracts from my concentration on the majestic form of the sculpture. |

I like the new composition…though I didn't find the original composition background a distraction but rather part of the surrounding that the buds evolved from. Is it possible to achieve a similar effect by increased blurring of the background while increasing sharpness of the buds? |

I'm amazed at the improved clarity of the composition from the original to monochrome. I especially like the blur in the background contrast to the sharper foreground. I wonder if the same was done in the original composition if it would have the same effect on the subject? Nevertheless the monochrome is well done. Good luck in competition! |

I echo everyone on the amazing job you did with the moth… but your second post engaged me more with the beauty of your original subjects - the flowers…can't wait until you share more of their stunning beauty. |

I like the composition. You asked for feedback on the sun in the background- I do think it's distracting - it's hidden and not apparent that it is the sun. To me it does not add to the composition as the intensity of the light unevenly surrounds the building leaving me to wonder what and why is it there. |

I love the composition with all eyes on the busy bee ðŸ I honestly have not viewed the sharpness, clarity and detail of a bee as shown here. I don't have any suggestions to add. |

I am drawn to doors as subjects- they metaphorically represent transitions to new or old transformations. I think just the door by itself would make an interesting story - more cropping of everything else out. For me, the surroundings of the door are distractions from the raw beauty of this stately gateway. |

I love what you have done with the composition and the editing. I agree that the sharpness of the blades of grass works best in the portrait storytelling of the subject - the moose is majestic in its natural environment. The vignette works well to enhance focusing the subject. |
