Thank you for sharing the original and final image. I love the focus on the dancers and agree with Craig if the background were blurred it would increase the focus on the subjects for even more impact.
Love the image - the smile of the son tells the story -- he is happy for his mom's time with him -- even though there is another little one sharing her movements. |

I too enjoy the sea stacks against the shore - reaching up to a sky that is just beyond its reach. Works for me. |

Converting the image to monochrome adds to the mystic and fantasy-like feeling of the composition. I like how the sky joins the water in the left of the image -- almost framing the end of the image. |

I am in awe of the photographic art created in this image. I need to take a few Photoshop classes - both images are amazing! |

Owen, l love the winding stairs although I am conflicted about contrast of light and darkness. I feel the choice of black and white adds to the artistic nature of the composition. |

I have both a Cannon T3i and T8i -- for many years but -- they are heavier and I dont often find time for shooting -- hence I find there are more times when the iPhone is more accessible.
Thanks for the kind words on the composition. I shot over 200 images but this is the one that I felt was closest to my intent. I am also experimenting with using Lightroom more... I once enjoyed the editing process in Aperture before Apple took it off the market. |
