I really like how it tells a story. You did a good job with the colors and composition. It is a bit grainy, probably because it is cropped from an image taken from a phone. I have had some really nice quality images from my iphone, but when I crop them too much they do get a bit pixilated. Overall, I think it accomplishes communicating the feeling you were going for. Nice job. |

The really bright sky draws my eye up and away from the beautiful reflections in the water. As great as the clouds are, I would try cropping a little off of the top (maybe the upper-most row of clouds) to have more of a panoramic crop. It is a great image. Good job capturing the sun without having it burn out. |

I like the contrast of the running water and the ice. I wonder if you have considered processing this in black and white. I think that would really highlight the different textures well, especially since there is not much color in the image to begin with. |

I love the composition of this image. I especially like the parallel leading lines of the water drops and the edge of the petal. In a perfect world, I would have liked that one drop on the bottom left hand side to be as sharp as the rest, but that is just a bit of nit picking because everything else looks great to me. |

I love the colors you have captured in this image. I agree with Fred, that there is some banding in the sky and some haze with the skyscrapers in the back. I don't remember what program you use for processing, but in Lightroom there is a slider for dehazing an image and I am curious what that would do to those taller buidlings. I am intrigued by the mention of a timelapse project. Are you taking images from the same place over a period of time? |
