I really like the feeling this image evokes. My personal taste would be to tone down the pink in the sky a little bit, but I can see how that would not be everyone's preference. |

I like the original crop better, but I think it depends on the story you want to tell with the image. In the first crop, the focus is shared between the statue and the building. My impression was the workers in the statue looming over the capital and the curve of the building balances the curve of the statue. In the second crop, the tilts are not proportionate. It seems like the statue is the sole focus of the image and the building only gives background context rather than being part of the message. The fish eye distortion makes it seem like the statue is leaning a lot, but the building not so much since the some of the curve is cropped out. It changes the effect from one of looming to one of leaning. |

Beautiful capture. You have nailed the timing and it is nice and sharp. You were able to maintain details in both the dark and light feathers. My favorite part is what appears to be golden light reflecting off of the right wing. Nicely done. |

Very nice job with the exposure and not overexposing the white dove. I also like the composition. Good job. |

I like the subject you chose and the atmosphere of the image. It evokes a feeling of a place and time. It seems as if there is some distortion going on with the buildings aside from a simple straightening. If you have access to Lightroom, it has some tools that help correct some distortions, especially those in architectural images that you may want to experiment with. |

I really like the location and the atmosphere. Like Tom, I like seeing both of the ceiling panels. If you ever had the chance to recreate this image, my one suggestion would be to position the man walking down the aisle so his head is not merging with the people sitting at the table. I think it would have been stronger with either the floor as the background or the wall and cabinets in the back. |
