49 Aug 19 Comment I understand that you darkened the eye in order to make the reflection less noticeable, but I agree with Al that it needs to be a bit lighter. My eye rides up the bright edge of the beak to the feathers in back and the face of the bird seems to fade away. Aug 27th
49 Aug 19 Comment When I first looked at the image, I didn't notice the area that Tom pointed out. But once I saw what he was talking about, it pulls my eye every time. I am curious if it was a natural phenomenon or if it was a result of the editing. Overall, I love the image. The sky is a wonderful color with the right amount of clouds. The buildings are interesting and you maintained their detail well. My favorite part is the reflection of the sky on the river. Aug 27th

You got a great catch light in the eye and you have a good composition which allows you to see both the detail in the bird as well as giving the viewer context to the environment. I like the texture of the shells in the sand as well as the colors in the blurred background. Like Al, I was going to mention the one highlight near the bird that pulled my eye. Overall, nicely done.
