You did a great job of taking a shot of a bear in captivity without making it obvious that it was not in the wild. (I am assuming this based on your mention that it was at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center.) I like the snow on its fur, you nailed the exposure there. My one nitpick would be the bright stick(?) coming up from the bottom on the right. It pulls me a little bit out of the image and could probably be easily cropped out or cloned away. |

I think you did a great job. I like how you got the faces and how those faces each have a different expression. It tells a story. I don't really have any suggestions to improve in these types of events because I struggle with the same thing. I think you have done well given the challenges. |

You captured the bird and the fish perfectly. The shape of the subjects as well as the look in their eyes is really appealing. My personal preference would have been to darken the leaves in the background a little bit, but it does work just the way it is. Great job!1 |

I like the subject you picked for this image. I agree that the background is a little distracting, but that there may not have been a better alternative and the white flower is a little over exposed. I also find the missing bit of the hat in the back to be distracting because the hat is the important subject overall and I want to see the whole thing. Overall, I like it - good job recognizing a good subject. |

I agree that the lighting is very nice in this image. I like the sharpness you have overall - it really brings out the textures in the seawall. There seems to be a little noise in the shadows on the clouds. I am not sure if it is enough to be an issue, but you could try using some luminance on them to see if it makes a difference (I wouldn't use it globally though because you would lose some the sharpness and texture in the building). |
