I had the same thought as Tom about getting lower so the branches frame the lighthouse rather than obscuring the top. I am not sure what the background would have been, but I also wanted to read the words on the building and may have tried an angle where Marine City was not cut off. Aside from those nit picky items, I love love the lighting and the composition you have. Nicely done. |

I really like detail shots like this. It is a different way of looking at things and really highlights the colors and textures. Excellent job with the composition and focus. |

Wonderful subject for a portrait. I think others already addressed the lighting so I wanted to point out that there is something on the wall behind her head (maybe a light switch or a thermostat). If you could have had the subject take a step to her left, her head would have blocked the distracting element. |

I also like the feelings evoked by the final image. It is a bit spooky and mysterious, so well done in accomplishing your goal. It is a definite improvement over the original image. Images like this are why I like to go back to look at old images that I originally decided were not worth the time of processing and play with them and try to see if there is something there. Well done. |
