49 May 17 Comment I like the placement of the pitcher in the background. It does a nice job of adding context without competing with the subject. However I think I would have tried to include the players she was watching instead. Perhaps including the batter instead of the pitcher would have added that connection between the girl and the game. I am not bothered by the blur in the flags. May 30th
49 May 17 Comment I agree with Tom. I like the single cattail better. I also agree that I like the curve of the leaf in that image. The conversion is very nice. I like how the background has some texture to it without being distracting. Nice job. May 30th
49 May 17 Comment Great job with the timing of the shot. I really like that you captured a bit of the bird's behavior. On my uncalibrated monitor it seems to have an overall yellow color cast. Overall I love the composition and how you captured the perfect moment. May 30th
49 May 17 Comment I like the feeling of looking up at the tower. It does a good job emphasizing the height. I also like Al's idea to go with black and white...it really brings out the geometry of metal. To my eye it seems to be leaning to my right. I am not sure if that is a trick of the perspective or not. The bottom horizontal lines appear to be straight. May 30th
