I really like your image. Technically, you nailed it. I have tried panning a bunch of times and I have never really got an image I was happy with. It is not easy and you nailed it here. I also really like your composition. The two vehicles make a great diagonal giving the image added energy. It is hard enough to get the technical aspects right when everything is moving so fast, but you managed to have impressive composition as well. Nicely done. |

I am impressed that you not only were able to "see" the potential of this image, but had the technical knowledge to bring your vision to life. I don't think you went too far with the post processing. If you hadn't told me that you used HDR, I would not have guessed it (although I should have due to the great details in the trees which are blacked out in most sunset shots). I think my favorite part is the reflection of the sunset in the one snow free puddle in the middle back. The line of the trees leads me right there. Great placement. |

She is a beautiful subject. In addition to the other comments, if it was my image I might try to find a way to make the white wavy line in the upper left hand corner less noticeable. You can't crop it out without cutting out important parts of the dancer with it, so I would try cloning it out or maybe darkening that corner even more so that it is less distracting. |

Thanks Al. I go back and forth with the sign, one day I like it and the next I don't. When I learn Photoshop I might try removing it (I use Lightroom right now). I think if I went with a wider shot, the sign would not take up as much of the image and would be less distracting than this tighter image. That is something to try next time too (assuming I can find that door again). |
