Hi David! I'm from another Study Group but always enjoy checking out Barbara's Group and your work is just so amazing ... to have created this masterpiece from the original (which is totally different) and your subject is almost hidden away is breathtaking! It exudes tranquility and is just a brilliant creation! You truly have the photographer's artistic eye and everything that goes with it! Congratulations! |

Thanks Lisa! You and Yolanda had the same suggestions and that will definitely help the image. And I think you're right. Cropping a tad off the right will help take the bird off dead center. |

Thanks Tony and all. I agree with Tony's thinking on the tree branches drawing you into the 'star' of the show and think adding texture to the bird's feathers will make it pop a little more too!

You are so creative Lisa and I love what you have done but do like the symmetry you created with flipping the other eye and love Natalie's suggestion of adding smoke to the end of the blue tube to look like your subject is smoking! That would be a cool touch!
I see we both have the same Olympus gear!! LOVE the new Mark II ... tracking is fabulous. If you really want to have fun, get the Panasonic 100-400mm (200-800mm) four thirds lens to make for an awesome combination. I don't use my macro lens any more because of what this pulls in and is sharp at both ends of the scope!
Colors really pop all the way through and it is such a fun creation and love getting lost in absorbing everything that is in it! Super job! |

Perfection plus Tony!! Love what you have created and thanks for sharing the steps and screen shot! Choosing the dark green for the background was the perfect touch too and everything is very pleasing to the eye to just absorb and absorb! Great job! Border is perfect too!! A lot of 'perfects' in this one! (Smile) |

Love what you have created Charles! Very cool and so is your title! Yes I agree with Natalie about cleaning up the sky and also taking the yellow spots out of it as well as the little missed piece. Composition and colors are great!! And yes, take out the blue and red areas on the left as my eye goes to them and distracts from the overall picture. Hope you win with this piece lots of times in composition! You also might want to add a little vignette too. Mesmerizing to view and view and view!!

I agree ... this is a very creative use of two images that works! Would crop off some of the top as my eye is drawn to the brightness and perhaps crop a tad off the right so the mushrooms aren't perfectly in the center. Love your border too!

Love your creativeness Carol! And how you did the Splashes. Was that in Photoshop? Everything looks great but I do agree with Natalie about the noise on the figures and thinking you perhaps could tone that done and things would blend perfectly. Great job!
