40 Sep 25 Comment Janice, I think you have a classic egret here, sharp bird with back lighting through the wing feathers, and motion in the wings. Your cropping is good although a horizontal cropping might work here also but judging from your original, you can't add space on the right for the bird to fly into. Oct 1st
40 Sep 25 Comment Hi Don, this door carries the history of a lot of people and their emotions through the years. I had to enlarge it to see if I could find more of their history. The building and doors are certainly a treasure.

As to tone. I think I like the black and white original version but I really have no preference between it and the composite.

As to texture and detail, what a wonderful find! I like the texture and detail of the wood and feelings of the grafiti. I might even try to sharpen the image a little or make it more contrasty. But you are the artist here, not me.

I don't think you need to straighten lines as that is part of the historical charm.		 Sep 30th

40 Sep 25 Comment Andrew, In Camera Raw most recent Bata version I used Remove>Reflections. I took out the reflections in the sky on the left and right sides. There are some small reflections on the building i did not try to work with.
